3. Non Violent Child Centred Education In Nepal
This episode features Patrick Price from Lane Cove Rotary Club, founder of the Centre for Learning and Children’s Rights and the Heartland Academy in Nepal. Another great example of Australian vision, enterprise and determination to do good in the world, particularly among a very disadvantaged community, beset with prejudice and a discriminatory  caste system.

Patrick Price, a Rotarian from Sydney was shocked at the authoritarian and violent approach to teaching he found in Nepalese schools. Determined to do something about it he founded the Centre for Learning and Children's Rights a non profit organisation delivering educational and humanitarian projects in Nepal regardless of age, gender, religion or caste. including the successful Heartland Academy. www.forchildsrights.org and www.heartlandacademy.edu.np

Please let me know of any Club activities that would interest the wider general (non Rotary) public and I’ll endeavour to promote them.
Cheers
