Enviro Club Awards

The District EnviroClub Awards recognise and celebrate the efforts of Rotary clubs and individual Rotarians who are taking action to protect our environment and build a more sustainable future.

Adapted from a successful program in the United Kingdom, the awards encourage clubs to register environmentally sustainable initiatives, such as activities, projects, programs, and events, and strengthen these over time. Clubs progress through a series of awards, beginning with Bronze and moving on to Silver and Gold.

Individual Rotarians are also encouraged to act as catalysts for environmental change within their communities.

Rotary is uniquely placed to provide leadership on the pressing environmental challenges of our time, including climate change, pollution, water security, biodiversity loss, habitat protection, energy efficiency, and waste management. By working together, we can ensure the world we leave to future generations is no worse, and ideally better, than the one we inherited.
