Last night marked a truly special milestone as the Rotary Club of Windsor celebrated an incredible 70 years of service to the Hawkesbury community and beyond.

22.10.25 Windsor Rotary Club 70th Anniversary

🎉 Celebrating 70 Years of Service – Rotary Club of Windsor! 🎉

The evening was a wonderful blend of fellowship, history, and celebration, honouring the club’s long-standing commitment to Rotary’s ideals of service, leadership, and community spirit.

District Governor Michele Ellery had the privilege of presenting President Laurie with a certificate of recognition, acknowledging this remarkable achievement and the generations of Rotarians who have contributed to Windsor’s enduring legacy of service.

Guests included Past District Governor Mina Howard, Past President Paul Rogers, and the Mayor of the City of Hawkesbury, Cr. Les Sheather, along with members from the Rotary Club of Richmond, Inner Wheel, and many dedicated Windsor Rotarians — past and present — whose efforts have shaped countless community projects over the decades.

Throughout the evening, stories of service and friendship filled the room — from early fundraising efforts to the club’s lasting contributions in youth programs, local health initiatives, and international Rotary projects. Each memory was a reminder that Windsor’s Rotary story is one of compassion, collaboration, and commitment to making a difference.

As the club embarks on its next chapter, it continues to embody the Rotary motto of Service Above Self, inspiring future generations to carry the torch of goodwill and community leadership.

Congratulations to the Rotary Club of Windsor on 70 years of service, friendship, and impact — a legacy that will continue to strengthen the Hawkesbury community for many years to come.
