RAWCS (Rotary Australia World Community Service) has a comprehensive approach to disaster response, focusing on immediate relief, short-term assistance, and long-term rebuilding.

Rotary has been active in Australian communities for more than 100 years. RAWCS understands the need to be there for the long haul. Throughout the years, we have undertaken major disaster response projects across the Australia.

RAWCS is constantly developing response strategies to enable the network of Rotary clubs to better serve the communities they live in.

Right now, over 120 million people around the world have been made homeless by disaster and conflict. ShelterBox is working to change this.

By providing emergency shelter and tools for families robbed of their homes by disaster, we’re transforming despair into hope. We want to see a world where no family is left without shelter after disaster. ShelterBox listens and learns from the communities we work with to make sure we provide the right support.

ShelterBox works with trusted local partners and we have a network of incredible volunteers who are ready to help at a moment’s notice.
